Yep. I don't think with the injuries we can get on that roll this fast. It's possible because these guys are beasts athletically, but it just seems like a lot to ask. I'd love for us to get Story to take some of that pressure off.

Even if fully healthy I think Boston and Houston are better than us when they are healthy. HFA could be huge if we can get it. Over in the NL I don't think we beat any of those guys in a World Series. The Mets have DeGod, Stroman and Walker who we aren't hitting. The Dodgers, Giants, and Padres have good pitching and can rake. The Brewers can't hit, but their pitching gives us fits. I think we can win the WS if our guys are healthy and rolling, but it may be a tall order this year. I think next year we are WS favorites.

I don't even care anymore. Just let this deadline get here and over with. Wake me up next Friday when Luis is back.

Leury is not fine offensively at 2nd base for the playoffs. Especially in the WS when the pitcher bats as well. I'd like to have a lineup with no auto outs and power up and down the order. I'm okay with Leury for a division title run, but the lineups in the playoffs will be loaded. EE is a lefty with power and is a rental, so the fit is perfect. I would get him and a good bullpen arm or two if I'm lucky. If I only get 1 good bullpen arm I'm okay with that. Because if Bummer, Marshall, or Crochet figure it out, it is like adding a second arm anyway.

Speaking of 9, we are 9 days away from seeing Luis Robert roam CF at Wrigley.
