Over the course of a 162 game season Ricky won’t look so pretty, just as he hasn’t over his past 10 years managing in the big leagues or whatever it is. Nobody's asking that Dyson start over Eloy. Just that he be used as a defensive replacement in the 9th inning of a game where the Sox are up two runs. The comparison is invalid.

The downside is too great, even though I'd love to beat the Cubs in a World Series. I don't think I could ever live down the Sox losing one to them... Would rather not risk it.
