Actually, a lot of times bad pitching beats us. I hate the fact that we are so dependent on the home run. Yeah, it was fun against the Royals, but now all we do is pop out. The reason good pitching and a lot of times bad pitching beats us is because we can't manufacture runs.

Talk about overrated. What has Shockey done? 2 TDs last year and some huge drops in the playoffs against the 49ers. This year 5 Rec for 44 Yds and 1 TD. Yeah, but Shinjo is no Matsui. Matsui is regarded as the best player in Japan and a lot of scouts say he is more talented then Hideki Matsui.

According to sportsline he has thrown 84 pitches through 5 innings. 2 more sounds about right. And thats only if he gets through the 6th with no trouble.
