  1. There is only one time it is acceptable to root for the Cubs and that is when they are facing a division rival or a direct competitor to the White Sox.
  2. Thank you. I enjoy looking at it myself. By the way, is there a way to get pictures on the sig without having them be links.
  3. Well, for what its worth here is my fantasy team while still being realistic: DH Carl Everett 1B Frank Thomas 2B Roberto Alomar SS Kaz Matsui 3B Joe Crede LF Carlos Lee CF Jacque Jones RF Magglio Ordonez C Miguel Olivo Starters: 1. Bartolo Colon 2. Mark Buehrle 3. Sidney Ponson 4. Jon Garland 5. Esteban Loaiza Bullpen: Damaso Marte Tom Gordon Scott Sullivan Kelly Wunsch Scott Schoenweiss Shigetoshi Hasegawa Bench: Aaron Rowand Willie Harris Tony Graffanino Michael Rivera Aaron Miles Manager: Someone who knows what they're doing
  4. Oops, didn't mean to quote his post. I was just asking for our fantasy teams if we were supposed to take into account finances.
  5. Is this taking into account financial considerations?
  6. No, according to those numbers Koch averaged about 76 1/3 innning per year and Foulke averaged close to 82 innings per year.
  7. Thats pretty cool. I went to grade school with them. My cousin's name is Andrew Petzel.
  8. I was just wondering because my cousin who is at MSU also went to St. Viator, hes a sophmore though. Did you know Nick Bernardi or Joe Lazicki by any chance?
  9. SuperSteve what year in college are you?
  10. Yeah, I'm going to try to change that, my friend made it and screwed it up.
  11. Sorry, misinterpreted your statement.
  12. We have that guy already, Scott Schoenweiss
  13. I'll admit that NIU has a great team this year and that they would most likely beat the Illini, but that doesn't mean they deserve a BCS bid. Maryland is overrated and Alabama is solid but not great. If NIU was to face a team like OU or Miami they would be run off the field by the end of the first half. Turner would probably struggle to gain 50 yards against Oklahoma's D.
  14. Not one of those guys you mentioned is in Colon's league at all. I wouldn't mind Ponson or Pettite but the rest of those guys are #4 starters. Rueter has had a nice career but thats in the NL and unless a pitcher dominates the NL I don't like him in the AL (see Todd Ritchie and Chan Ho Park). Lidle has an ERA over 6.00, I would almost rather have Danny Wright in the rotation over Lidle.
  15. To large of a picture nevermind.
  16. I think I would keep Carl. I love the intensity that he brings to the game. Also, at this point he is a better player than Robbie is.
  17. Yeah, going to the U of I vs. Cal game in the morning and then I'm going to check out a basketball scrimmage because we have some pretty big prospects on campus.
  18. Not for me, plans to go home for the weekend fell through, and my friends had already planned to go to the bars, and I couldn't get in because I'm only 18 and they didn't get me a fake.
  19. Agreed. Hes only saying what everyone else is thinking.
  20. Thats a bit harsh. How old is this kid anyways? I really shouldn't really be calling anyone a kid as I'm only 18 but he acts like hes about 10.
  21. The only thing he could do was throw. And if you can believe this, he was about twice as bad as Olivo at the plate.
  22. Agreed. I wish I was in a boy band.
  23. cwsox, just gotta make a comment on your sig. Navarre will not win the Heisman and won't even lead his team in heisman votes. Chris Perry is the real star of the Wolverines.
  24. Here are a few shortstops I'm pretty sure are available off the top of my head: Tejada (no chance), Kaz Matsui (unlikely), Christian Guzman, David Eckstein, and I believe Rich Aurillia is also a free agent.
