To be fair Narvaez isn't doing him any favors. The way he receives the ball low just looks awkward.

Watching Shields pitch is like watching paint dry. But at least it's only a couple more months, maybe less if the prospects perform in the minors.

AAA by June and a September cup of cofffee and then being called up for good in May/June next year doesn't seem overly aggressive to me.

Delmonico looks brutal in LF. But I still have faith that he becomes just below average instead of a straight up butcher. He is athletic enough to not be an embarassment there and he is still learning on the job, I like him as a long term bench bat and spot starter at LF/1B/DH. Like a Matt Stairs type of player.

So it's one of the Rays' bullpen games?

Yeah the Royals are the last team to win without a superstar. The only player that maybe passes as a star if you squint hard enough would be Cain but only because of his glove. Volquez,Ventura, Moustakas and Hosmer. were above average or even just average players.
