  1. Hopefully the 3! Like last year, with Tony.
  2. Remind me what seed they were in the playoffs that season?
  3. Clinging to that winning percentage in a 60 game season in which the team completely fell apart in the final 10, I see.
  4. Remarkably, the Yankees are 61-16 vs. the Twins at Yankee Stadium since 2002 (regular season). They have also faced the Twins in the playoffs 6 separate times in that span and won all 6 series with an overall record of 16-2 in those 18 playoff games.
  5. No lol http://mcubed.net/mlb/nyy/min.shtml It does appear that they are 2-24 in their last 26 at Yankee Stadium though (regular season). EDIT This was before Thursday's Twins win. So 3-24 now over the last 27.
  6. Looking ahead to next week's make-up game with Cleveland, if the rotation holds Giolito would be facing McKenzie. However, the Sox have a day off Monday so they could have Giolito pitch on normal rest Wednesday vs. the Rockies and push Cease back to Thursday to face Cleveland. Now one might argue that with only 24 games left, you want Cease pitching in as many of them as possible and under no circumstances should you be pushing him back. Another option is to push Giolito back in the rotation and let Lynn pitch vs. Cleveland, as Lynn is scheduled to pitch next Friday but could pitch Thursday on normal rest with the off-day in there. How would you handle the rotation for this game?
  7. Are you suggesting the 2020 White Sox weren't that good? Exactly my point lol
  8. I like the Bears to cover the 6.5 point spread on Sunday. I think they have a shot to win this game outright.
  9. Andrus at SS, Romy at 2B, Moncada at 3B. Tim Anderson at.....catcher?
  10. Can someone get me offensive stats for before Andrus was around and after?
  11. If Sox sweep the A's and Twins take 2 of 3 from Cleveland. Sox in 1st place by Sunday.
  12. YOAN (better musician than Elvis) HAS LEFT THE BUILDING
  13. Maybe TLR won't come back, after all. Then surely the young, vibrant team will win the World Series with Messiah Cairo.
  14. Who has that additional payroll been spent on?
  15. Remind me about the final 3 weeks of 2020.
  16. You think the Sox are a 95 win team with Hinch this year? Do you honestly believe that?
  17. Bologna with mustard is a solid snack.
  18. TLR ain't the answer but he certainly isn't the only problem. You've completely oversimplified his impact. Took a "playoff" team who couldn't make it past the A's to reach the ALDS. Sox stunk before Tony, pal.
  19. I've criticized TLR plenty. I defend him against the complete insanity I read sometimes. There's people on here who actually believe the team is magically healed now because TLR left for a couple weeks. As if his departure is definitely the spark we needed. That's why I like to joke that the team is playing well now because their skip is in the hospital and their busting their ass for him.
  20. Lol. What a crock of s%*#. I could play that game and say the Sox have only won one division title in the last 15 years and guess who was managing? Technically the Sox have been better under TLR than any manager in a long time. The mighty 2020 White Sox who finished as the 7th seed in a 60 game season where they limped into the playoffs is the standard that TLR s%*# all over according to you. But apparently since they've had a nice 8 game sample size without him, he's clearly the problem. How about Hahn's 10 season sample? Is TLR to blame for that?
  21. My point is if you think the failings of this org fall squarely on the shoulders of TLR, you're ignoring a lot of other factors.
  22. Now do the team since Hahn took over.
