August 3, 20169 yr Kind of looks to me like the only way Ranaudo gets a shot is if Shields is claimed off waivers. Shame though. Would like to see him get some starts in September, if not sooner. Agree with those that say the Adams promotion was too aggressive.

August 3, 20169 yr We need to find room for Ranaudo in the rotation for the rest of the season. The odds of him being anything are slim but I'd like to give him a 2 month try out and see what he's got in that short sample size.

Should have shipped out Shields for any type of prospect, because I'd have more faith in Ranaudo for next season.
