August 9, 20169 yr Didn't see this posted. Read a few days ago a story where they quoted Robin as saying Avila reinjured that hamstring while running. No idea now when or if he'll be back this season. I suspect he won't be around next year with the club since he'll have missed roughly half the season if the doesn't return. Mark
August 9, 20169 yr Man, at this rate I'll be surprised if any team has interest in him. Guy is more fragile than glass.
August 9, 20169 yr QUOTE (CWSpalehoseCWS @ Aug 9, 2016 -> 11:44 PM) Man, at this rate I'll be surprised if any team has interest in him. Guy is more fragile than glass. It's not as though they were no warning signs in his previous history that would lead you to believe he could stay off the disabled list for an extended period of time. Is the socks organization to a point where they are now saying perm ca is the sox organization to a point where they are now saying 'Herm can fix him'?
August 9, 20169 yr He'll be a college or minor league coach/manager before too long. Probably will be a good one too.
August 9, 20169 yr Don't they have an option on him next year? They don't with Navarro. And since they're unlikely to bid on Ramos against the field, we'll probably end up with him or Suzuki...unless we can pry a SD catcher away (Norris).
