The Sox look to extend their winning streak to 4 games at home and keep playing the spoiler role.

Game is at 6:10. I wish it was 4:10 with Shields pitching in the shadows. Might give him a shot for a few innings.

KC won't be making the wildcard. Too many teams ahead of them in the race.

This'll be my last game of the season. Looking forward to a 21-20 victory.

Think Shields will get to 20? Think the Sox will continue to start him if he gets to 19? I dunno.

3 batters in and 2 runs have crossed the plate. A doink and a boink as the Royals announcers have said.

Worst acquisition ever....please retire

Hosmer hits a pop up that goes 420 in the wind. 2-0. We can probably use some 420 with Shields on the mound and the wind howling straight out.

Hosmer homers and the wind helped. They said Hosmer didn't seem sure he had it all. I still think Shields back problems are worse than they let on

I doubt it. He is just not the same pitcher from 3-4 years ago.

If Abreu had a pitch thrown behind him and it only hit the pocket that's always hanging out, would it be a hit by pitch? They really should make these guys tuck in their pocket if it's hanging out. It's pretty annoying.

Frazier sac bunt with runner on 2nd? Come on now

More proof that Ventura refuses to learn from his mistakes.

Yet another double wasted................................

He was bunting for a hit. That wasn't called from the bench

Why does one of our biggest run producers not know to NOT bunt in a RISP situation? Even though his RISP numbers suck this year that's no excuse.

Frazier might have done that on his own

Shields appears to be doing just fine now.

The 3B was playing way back. If he got it another step away from the mound he would have had an easy hit.

Shields looks much better tonight. Too bad about that wind aided first inning homer

It's always more acceptable to folks if the play is successful LOL

That one didn't need the wind

Well Shields gave up another homer. Solo shot to Gordon. Hope I didn't praise him too much and too early

Yikes! Estimate 410 feet to RIGHT

Benetti talking about the Easter bunny...for no reason...that was embarrassing. Almost as embarrassing as that base running blunder by Avisail
