November 14, 20169 yr QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Nov 13, 2016 -> 05:02 PM) Then you aint getting Adam Eaton. Exactly. I struggled with that trade for a bit. Tried to be very fair in my deals.
November 14, 20169 yr QUOTE (SouthSideSale @ Nov 13, 2016 -> 09:57 PM) Exactly. I struggled with that trade for a bit. Tried to be very fair in my deals. Generally speaking, I'm not a fan of the total tear down of the current roster. Not because I care if they win or lose in the near future, but because I question whether they can identify the right guys to get back. If they can get as much back as you proposed, I'd be fine with it, but it seems like you have them getting an awful lot in return for a few of the guys. But, truth be told, I'm not a huge minor league baseball fan, so maybe the names you mentioned aren't as much as it looks like to me. Nice plan, though.
November 14, 20169 yr Author BP Boston made some offseason plans like we did in this thread. Here are 2 of their plans that involved Sale and Quintana. Sale traded for... 2B Yoan Moncada SS Mauricio Dubon SP Eduardo Rodriguez Quintana traded for... CF Jackie Bradley Jr. C Blake Swihart 3B Rafael Devers SP Michael Kopech I think that Sale trade is a bit light. Throw in 2 lower level guys like Basabe and Dalbec. I am a big fan of that Quintana trade though, and think it's probably unrealistic to hope for that back. Hell, that would even be a fair return for Sale.
