Why not? Sale and Quintana, their markets are well documented for potential suitors. Jones is comparable to Ken Giles. Adam Eaton has just come off the best year of his career and their are many good teams out there looking for a good/great cheap 1B (Red Sox, Rangers, Pirates, Astros)

 

Because I'm not certain that about 5 teams are looking to unload 3-5 of their best young players right now. You make the smart move which is not always taking the best trade offer available.

    Only time will tell. They have put themselves in a very tempting opportunity to completely re-haul the state of the franchise. The organization currently lacks depth, after a few trades this winter-- that can change dramatically.
