If Jeffrey Luhnow has suddenly become the MLB marketing and recruiting equivalent of Bill Self or John Calipari, I'll eat my eat.

 

They do have an exciting young team, and Gurriel already there (if they have a relationship of any kind)...but the quickest path to even more money in the major leagues lies with the White Sox.

 

 

Yeah, Houston is probably the definitive favorite right now as he worked out for them and then "postponed" the rest of his work outs.

 

I think the Sox chance at Robert isn't great at this point as I anticipate that the price for him is going to well exceed what they are comfortable to dolling out. I can see him getting close to $35M which would end up costing the team $70M.

 

He had the flu supposedly. He has no reason not to work out for other teams.
