Avisail Garcia: Make or Break Year

Featured Replies

Avi is a likeable player, albeit a bust so far. It'd be cool if he actually got real good. Seems like he busts his ass out there for the team. I know nothing about him personally, but he seems like he truly hustles.

This may be a make or break Spring Training for Avi like a lot of other players.

I found it interesting that Avi was listed as DH and not among the outfielders on http://m.whitesox.mlb.com/roster

The make or break Avi year was last season at the latest and he broke. If he's suddenly good this year, he's going elsewhere via trade.

Only 2 years of control left so I agree.

To be honest I just don't know what to say about Avi. I appreciate his hard work and hustle but the results just aren't there.

Correct. He was given every chance in 2016.

This really will be Avi's last shot to prove himself at the MLB level

We have nothing to lose in a rebuilding season to trot him out there to see what he's got
