Not a bad play from Jose. I'll concede the run. Nice play. Usually he drops those.

Abreu didn't make any mistakes in the first. Pitcher was late getting off the mound and then the foul pop-up catch was the correct play at that point in the game

I think we try and get one more inning out of Holmberg.

The slide was just poor athletic instinct, which we have seen time and time again. If it was one time sure but he's going to get himself hurt eventually and in the meantime he costs runs.

Not a bad start for Holmberg I guess. Did his role.

that would be a mistake.

Holmburg have it his all through four. But, I have never been a fan of using bullpen pitchers to start. But, I guess there wasn't much of a choice considering

Avi is giving him a f***ing battle.

Price is a god damn junk baller now.

The worst part of this year is without a doubt that it's not "all hands on deck" and instead they went to a reliever instead of just calling up some young arm for a spot start. Long term obviously it's correct but for now it's frustrating.

Great footwork from Matt.

Infante on and not fooling anyone. Four hard hit balls from first four

These kids that come up for the most part at least look like they have a clue at the plate and can defend. Engle isn't going to hit for s*** but at least he can take some pitches. Wily isn't going to hit for much average, but he is going to run into a few and take some walks.

lol, no worries the HBP offense is coming.

Stop bunting and please make Anderson try to steal more

Is there a verdict out on Engel yet? Is he just going to be a nice defending 4th OF or does he look like he will hit enough to start?

How can we know that after 2 games?

He looks like he has some tools for a 4th OF but IMO there's nothing in his profile that says anything more. Granted I haven't followed him that closely.

Noooooo bunting

......wtf

What a joke...go coach softball

No bunting in softball.

Why are we bunting with two strikes? I love what Renteria brings to the table overall, but good god his love for bunting sucks.
