Two Scenarios:

- Possible picks (removes the likely top 5)

- White Sox are in Twins position, who would you pull trigger on?

Despite my going to bat for Kendall, given the chance I went with Haseley.

I think my top 3 probably is 1) Haseley 2) Kendall 3) Beck with 2 and 3 swapped if Beck comes underslot.

If the White Sox had all 10 available, I'd go Hunter Greene because I actually watched a video and the movement on that kids fastball is ridiculous.

Pretty sure it is Brendan McKay not Hunter McKay.

Haha, thanks, edited. I was trying to do them in alpha and kept retyping names.

Haseley if he's there. And I'd take McKay with #1 overall.

1-1 I take hunter greene. Yes HS pitcher but he seems to be a generational talent he is sitting upper 90s and basically pitching like Strasburg was out of college. I don't love McKay that much. His Velo was not that spectacular and he might be more of a 3 starter. His bat is very good too but he is a 1b and I read reports that he hit a lot better against weaker teams than against good teams. Now he might improve either hitting or pitching if he focused on it but I can't ignore greenes upside, he could become a jose Fernandez or noah syndergaard and no other player in the draft has Close that upside.

At 11 I would go haseley first and if he is gone I gamble upside with adell or Kendall. At 11 there is no safe and great pick especially not this year and if haseley is gone I might as well take the upside rather than one of the 1b/DH bats.

Yeah I think a few weeks ago I was saying I'd have a hard time picking Greene if I was Twins just due to him being a high schooler. This was pre-wright making a dominant run to #1. Then I watched a video of greene and holy crap that stuff. Moving that much at 97-98 is special.

Halsey is definitely the ideal pick for me @ 11. If he's not there I'd take an underslit gamble on either Burger or Prato. I know both wouldn't be popular picks but I just don't like some of these guys being mocked in the 9-12 range.

I would be furious if we took Pratto and I don't really understand the logic behind it. If I'm taking a high schooler they better damn well be a short stop, pitcher or center fielder.

Because I'm more worried about drafting a good baseball player than an athlete. Like I said, I know it would be unpopular but Pratto has 1 of the best swings and patient approaches. Give me the guy that knows how to hit over an athlete you hope develops.

Beck/Greene
