I could deal with the Cubs winning a series but not making it or winning the World Series. Even one series win would put a lot of pressure on the Sox ownership to try to put a great product on the field next year.

September 28, 200322 yr Let's hope we come back next spring with the following things: - William Koch at 100% - Bartolo Colon with a multiyear deal and eating at a salad bar - Mark Buehrle with a contract for more than 3 seasons - Robbie Alomar with a 2 year deal - A solid 5th starter, Cotts, Rauch, Wright or whoever earns it - An energetic skipper who will put some life into the team - Optimistic Sox fans
