Yeah I'd like to see him be a bit more aggressive. The balls he fouls away he seems so quick but when he swings and misses I agree with you

He's fouling those balls off hard down the RF line because he's guessing fastballs in those situations.

Yea if you go by the pitch tracker on WGN I've seen pitches high , outside and inside that showed as balls called strikes for Tomlin. That one to Abreu was ridiculously outside, I know the Sox players are bad but Tomlin shouldn't have a no hitter going with ton of K's .

It hasn't been consistent at all either, and Rodon has thrown multiple strikes in pretty key spots that have been called balls.
