I don't know how the Sox are going to score even 600 runs this year their offense is putrid, and that includes Abreu.  This guy pitching is a schmuck of the nth degree and he doesn't have to throw 50 pitches to get through 4 innings. Sox pitching throws 40 pitches in 2 innings usually.

For the most part I agree, but in his first AB, he took two fastballs that were strikes. I get that umps have fucked him out of some AB’s this year but when pitches are in the zone, he has to swing more.

You have to have good mechanics also. KLaw was always concerned about a flaw in his swing that would make him vulnerable against inside pitches.
