it's incredible how much you have to learn about shifting and playing in space you're not familiar now if you're a middle IF at the big league level.  Cannot be easy on these young guys that came up at the exact time the shift became prevalent.

This should have happened at the beginning of the season.  The chances of Leury playing a solid CF & developing into a solid trade chip was much better than Engel ever learning how to hit.
