Like? Delmonico and Leury are really the only guys on the current roster I can think of they've moved around.  And that is because Delmonico was literally awful at 3B, a position he has yet to appear at in the big leagues.  I don't really consider moving a guy like Yolmer, a middle infielder by trade, around the infield all that flexible.

Cordell was an infielder by trade.  No appearances in the IF.  Palka is supposedly able to play 1B.  Haven't done it.  Haven't tried guys like Yolmer or Davidson in the OF.  I get not moving around guys like Anderson and Moncada, but even going back to previous seasons, I can't think of the Sox tinkering around with fringy guys playing new positions much at all.

We must just have different definitions of "quick to expand versatility".

They turned Leury into an OF.  He never had played the OF before.

Davidson has been used at 1B and even as an RP.

Tyler Saladino was moved around most all positions when he was here.

Alen Hansen logged a lot of time in the OF, after being an IF.

Those being from the last few seasons.

For some background - this guy was, going into 2017, the #10 prospect in a Twins system that was pretty deep at that time. He had a rough 2017 in AAA, and the Twins had a 40-man crunch with their own

So what is the record for go game-tying/go-aheaad/walkoff hits after 8th inning and where does Palka stand?

His year has been incredible.

That's a good question. And if you want to narrow it down even more, you can say for "record for a rookie."

I don't want to water it down, we're in the big time boys.

I want to say I remember hearing he was leading in Pinch Hit homers and HRs in the 9th inning this year.
