Let’s strive mightily to win this game and avoid 100 loses for the season

How awesome would it be for the Brewers to win the division at the last game of the season and the Cubs to lose the wild card game.

It would be awesome. Disappointed the Cards aren’t playing a couple regulars. And the Nats pulled back Scherzer.

I’m expecting both Brewers and Cubs to win. If the Cubs lose Monday and Tuesday night at home...still good.

Too bad Hawk isn’t ending his career today. He could have yelled “history” like when Sever won his 300th and Buehrle had his perfect game, every time the Sox whiffed.

Nice ovation for Mauer.

Future Sox catcher, JT Realmuto is managing the Marlins game today.

Russell Martin is managing the Jays too.

Looks like Rockies at Dodgers tomorrow for the West. Loser goes to Wrigley (I hope).

No obstacles to malfeasance will stop our record-breaking Sox as the squawk crowd roars.

What a way for the Sox to finish this season, not with a bang but with a whimper.

Major league record broken 3times that inning.

Most teams would change hitting coaches. Most.

Or get a different brand of bats.

What records were these?

At least one positive from this game:  Covey seems to have turned a corner as far as pitching is concerned.

The team K record goes up with every new one.

Cheap hr by Kepler. My gawd.

Ryan Cordell is 0-2 again, what a loser.

Yeah, instead of giving up 7 or 8 he has only given up 5.

Did he sleep with your mom?

When I wrote that, he had only given up 3.

Just a personal opinion- tomorrow’s games shouldn’t be considered regular season games where stats count. Regular season stats should be based on 162. Period. It should just be called a tiebreaker.

Huge double
