FutureSox: Sox to sign brother of Tatis Jr., Elijah

Featured Replies

Does Shields have a brother? If so,  the Padres should sign him quickly.

I'm surprised that he was eligible but didn't sign. I like the scouting comments on him, but should I read anything into that?

What honestly shocks me is a White Sox rep saying on record (even if unnamed) that the agreement is in place. That's frowned upon and technically against the rules, although all teams do it.

I wonder if because he is actually eligible today and not July 2, if that changes what they can say?

But I'm pretty sure teams' reps usually say it. We usually know where the best are going way before July 2.

On the Sox website too as a main story. Kind of strange.

We know because of insider sources. I've never once seen a team rep quoted saying it.

Maybe the brother will be better than the Padres Tatis Jr. Tatis Jr. is only batting .214 16 k's 4bb.

I'm gonna get ahead of the game here and call him T3. Pretty sure he's gonna be better than 10 mike trouts.

We could have a relative's all star team. You never know.

What position does he play?

Makes sense, sox are a poor man's padres

I think we'll find out hopefully this summer. I hope they start him at SS.

Breaking: Jake Peavy's ex just signed with the Sox.

Jake is having a scout inivitational workout May 1 after a considerable absence. He has a recording studio in Mobile.
