Now he's out, it's like Ricky doesn't learn a single fucking thing from outing to outing.

I'm not even going to take a lot out of this start for Gio. Throwing a slick baseball in the pouring rain is not fair. Not to him and not to the fielders either. They shouldn't be playing this game.

Now Ruiz is going to allow the inherited runners to score and Gio's ERA gets inflated by Renteria's mismanaging again.

Gio was bad last year, but he probably actually pitched to a 4.80-5.10 ERA, but Ricky's mismanagement cost him 1-1.5 runs.

Good resilience from Gio today, but I want to see him finish strong. Seems like has always has trouble in his last inning, even on his good days.

Or maybe Ricky just keeps putting him out an inning too long

Well fuck this guy, amirite? Total jinx

Just once, it would be lovely to let his guy exit on a positive instead of letting him get into even more trouble.

Giolito should've never been out there that inning. And now his outing potentially looks worse than it should've been.

What in the world is Ricky doing

Refusing to let his pitchers leave the ballgame feeling good about themselves as usual.

Blown call and now 2 on, no outs because Renteria is a total joke

Yea close pitch on the 0-2 to Frazier.

Suddenly, Eloy is hitting .304 in his first cup of coffee in the big leagues. He is going to be great.

You could have said that for 50% of his starts last year.

Every single person watching the 5th could see Giolito was emptying the tank except the two fools in the dugout.

Ricky putting in a guy who was in AA last year (hasn't even pitched in AAA yet) to hold this down in Yankee Stadium. You just can't make this stuff up.

OMFG, we actually agree on something.

Ricky is a fucking joke.

Funny that they bring in their worst reliever also.

Giolito should sue him for career sabotage. He's cost him so many runs.

He'll sign a 3 year extension soon, I'm sure.  But hey, Jerry wants to win!!!!

I was saying all last year that Ricky was simply terrible in how he handled Giolito late in his outings.

Giolito should've had 5 innings 3ER but Ricky is going to cost him 2 extra runs.

Ricky is in on tanking this season, right?

And for being a players manager, he doesn‘t allow his players to feel good about themselves or be in a position to succeed.

Man I cannot wait to twist the knife when the White Sox come out of the rebuild

Crazy part is I actually like Ruiz. Kid has great stuff, but he should not be up here yet. That's on the Sox FO. Ricky is just adding to the stupid.

Me too. Renteria is singlehandedly responsible for Giolito losing money in his 1st year of arbitration.

Bringing in Jace Fry who hasn‘t gotten anybody out. ?

+ infinity.

Does Renteria hate Giolito??? I have to ask this question. Is he trying to ruin his career?
