Ricky is an awful manager. He proves this time and time again

  • This may as well be an FU coming out of Chuck

  • Man, a lot of people in these game threads work really hard to suck any enjoyment out of anything. No wonder people don't come into these.

Pretty much!  results don't matter.

At least he has a role.  He’s very good at acquiring top draft

That's what tank managers do, right ?

They have one starting pitcher. They’re not contending for shit.

They are no worse than other team contending for that second wild card.

If they weren't, how do you explain they're only 2 back ?

I had a ton of things to do in my garage today, so I didn't think I would get a chance to see the game, which I didn't, so several hours after the game i checked out the box, and was absolutely dumbfounded to see that Lopez was allowed to stay in long enough to surrender 6 earned runs. They got 5 runs off of Strasburg in 2 innings and still got their asses kicked, unacceptable! No way Lopez should have stayed in after 4 innings, it is very obvious that he is not the dominant pitcher we all want him to be. I don't know about everyone else, but I'm feeling very confident that the Sox are in dire need of a rebuild of their coaching staff...

Has any one noticed how well Yolmer is playing? He's been back at 2nd long enough to knock off the rust and it shows. Also showing some patience at the plate.
