Sox TV Ratings Update...

Featured Replies

So, an average of about 33k people are watching Sox games in an MSA with 9.5 million people. That's mind blowing. Even the Cubs (~4x as much) number is a lot lower than I would have guessed.

No mention of the number of MLB.tv subscription cancellations on February 19th? That's a shame.

33K households so likely quite a bit more people. That rating and streaming is also a separate number I believe, not to mention the number of people who stream *ahem* under the radar

Yeah, the total households in Chicago are in the 2 million-3 million ish range, I'd guess

Like to see the ratings increase like this. I wonder if it takes into account those who stream via the likes of YouTube TV and Sling - doesn't seem like it based on the article.

Multiple people in households, bar watching, kodi and illegal streaming watching, etc.
