December 11, 20205 yr Here's another new twist to the minor league dilemma. In Florida, Tampa has had a High A team in Port Charlotte for years. This is also their ST facility as well as their Rookie League team (similar to our AZ facility). So Tampa cuts the cord on the Port Charlotte Stone Crabs, but they are keeping the ST and Rookie League hook ups, thereby eliminating the possibility of Port Charlotte getting another affiliation. And, of course, they have a great ball park.
