Not being called up. Potentially being traded hence the early pull

The Sox starters for the Cleveland series have all been switched to TBD so the speculation is that Lambert is going to get a spot start to give everybody an extra day's rest.

But it also could be because he's been traded.

Or being pulled just in case either of those things needs to happen.

If the one leaving the organization is Lambert I will not be heartbroken, but I wish him luck.
