I believe it's highly unlikely to happen, but lets say the Sox did in fact trade for Kimbrel, they could always flip him in the offseason to a closer needy team to recoup some prospects.

Hahn will fleece the Cubs again. I think he has their number. 

White Sox haven’t given up any real prospects of value considering what other teams like the Blue Jays have given up.  It wouldn’t surprise me to see them acquire kimbrel and Bryant with Sheets and Burger involved.
