July 1, 20223 yr Interesting that Dalquist pitched an inning out of relief for the Dash tonight. I'm guessing this is a way to manage his innings?
July 1, 20223 yr This would give Sosa plus raw power from a max EV perspective. ~82nd percent tile. Just around guys like Votto, Jose Ramirez, Torkelson, Arenado, Vaughn, etc. Pretty exciting to know Sosa has that in his toolbox.

If Sosa starts only hitting singles in Charlotte ,I know who to blame. . Charlotte is a bandbox he should do very well there.
July 1, 20223 yr Might have to keep an eye on Moises Castillo who has started off hot replacing Sosa at 2nd base in Birmingham. No power though.

I think the organizational wide approach of being middle-away first as hitters does them no favors, but even in spite of that, I agree

That said big strong guys need to tap into their power and that means pulling the ball. It's fine for a 2 strike approach but when you have the count in your favor it's bombs away.
