Another stolen base for Sprinkle. 8 steals in 18 games so far in Kanny.

Tommy Sommer should probably get a promotion to Operation Birmingham at this point. He's one of the few starters I think you'd expect not to struggle in AA or AAA given the opportunity next year.

Knights bullpen game pitched a 1 hit shutout.

Lol. The Lookouts just batted out of order against Birmingham. Never seen that one before.

I'm at the Winston game and he was impressive. Stuff definitely not overpowering, FB sitting at 89 on the gun here, but was mixing his pitches well and seemed to do a decent job of hiding the ball in his delivery.

I know most would probably have him pretty close to just an org guy, and seemingly the Sox would agree considering he's in WS, but with the success he's had this season and the upper minors pitching situation being what it is, he is someone to be taken seriously for next year.

Yeah I'll be quite interested to see how his stuff (hopefully) plays in B'ham next season.

Bham only played five innings but Colas was 2-2

Another strong outing for non-prospect Tommy Sommer.

I guess if he can do it at Bham, he could become a prospect or if he throws 89ish, only when he succeeds at MLB?  6' 4" 220lbs  soon to be 24yo.  K rate dropped from 10/9 to 8 in A+.  Other numbers solid.  Way better than the trash we have put out at other times.
