Quality of non Stone and Benetti spring training coverage.

#30 with a bullet.

But us peasants get waffle fries with chicken tenders on top of them and sauce of choice. Be grateful.

The chilli cheese fries concoction in a green Sox baseball helmet was decent...

Here's where things were more than a decade ago...when the average value was just $472,000,000 per team.

More than a 4x increase for the White Sox despite being terrible from 2013-2019.

Years of historically low payrolls building up to the "unprecedented financial flexibility" rebuild finishing touches period, lol.

JR wants to win, but...he wants to win his way under his terms and conditions.

It's a lot like how the Guardians, Brewers, Twins and Cardinals run their operations...albeit not nearly as efficiently.

Of course the Rays are in a completely different universe in terms of battling budgetary constraints.

If JR had hired talented people instead of toadies, he might have won more. If the Sox had won more the team might be worth more.

The cheapskate always loses in the end.

Well said.

The fact Hawk thinks Jerry isn’t having fun anymore and should sell gives me hope!

Maybe Hawk should get on the horn with Jerry then, instead of blaming everything on the marketing department.

Based on things I was told from people inside and outside of the organization Hawk does have a point with marketing / pricing issues.

Well at least Yahoo has us ranked 7th in the AL and ahead of the Twins...but they're high on the Astros and Guardians.

I guess 7 x 2=14 (better than 15th) could mean we're "above average" but NL West and NL East would argue otherwise.

So average (#12-18) in just about everything but current farm system rankings and projected attendance...

12th in payroll at $173.5 million, right behind SFG (flubbed Correa negotiations) and ahead of the Cubs.

https://www.spotrac.com/mlb/payroll/

Then Boston, the hapless/directionless Rockies,

Next, LEAGUE AVERAGE

StL, Minnesota, Seattle, Milwaukee, Detroit

Royals and Guardians 24th and 25th in the $75-76 million range.

Massive $20 million gap between Rockies at #15 and Cardinals #16, putting league around around the $155 million range.

9 teams well under $100 million...TB incredibly 27th with just $63 million.

If the Sox hit the market they’re probably a 5B team?

$2.5 - $3.0 billion.  Maybe $3.25.

Melody Hobson already close to 40%.
