I'm impressed that Skoug has made it to AAA and perservered thru a horrible start in pro ball. He has actually decreased his K% as he has moved up, which had to because he was at like 40% in A ball with nothing else.

He hasn't hit much in triple A so far, but homered today. He still walks a lot. I'm sure he's a garbage defender. But impressive nonetheless how far he has come. For his sake, would love if he saw some games in the big leagues to cap off that journey.

And obviously - I thought that dude would have much more power when he was drafted. But he does walk.

I got my dad excited about Chappy (he adores short, lefty second basemen), so it'd be great to see him back in the lineup.

Shane Murphy has my attention.

5 ip 8 ks. 3 runs.

22 year old lefty. Came out of CC, was a highly touted HS prospect that never put it together in college. Did get 125k though, so thought somewhat highly.

Cespedes is already up to 11 BBs in just 46 plate appearances, currently hitting .219/.457/.469.  It's early, but if he can keep his BB% above 20%, I can see him breaking the roster in Chicago as a 4th OF.

I feel extra dumb not checking the game times.

B-ham is almost done, Knights lost and Ballers won.

Popeye, Yoelqui and Duke Ellis each have two hits.

Thompson had a very Thompson start - 5 IP, 1 ER, 5 BB, 6 Ks.

Sprinkle had two hits, Super Mario had 2 walks, Glass a HR,

Chappy is back. Rejoice!

Chappy walk. Then a stolen base.

Chapelli walk number 2 on the night. Also stolen base number 2.

Lefties man. Always look sweet

I understand he’s not gonna hit .500, but Chappy’s plate discipline seems pretty advanced. I’m guessing he does not finish the season at W-S

I'd like to see him get at least a half seasons worth of games in Birmingham this year, if not more.
