Cannon going today. Wondering when he moves up or is he working on something?

I really like Cannon, but maybe he needs another pitch. I wonder what the Sox org's opinion of the splitter is. It's a pitch that's coming back into vogue.

Murphy with another good start for Kanny 4.0 IP 2H 0R 0ER 2bb 6K. Only threw 66 pitches in 4 innings. Hopefully it's load management. So far at the same level Murphy > Schweitzer. It will be interesting to see those two develop moving forward.

Shane Murphy, 14th round draft pick last year.  Good for Shane.

So far Cannon has given up 2 solo shots to guys hitting .189 and .182 respectively. No other hits. 0bb 5K.

Remilliard pulled early from the Knights game. Maybe finally getting a call?

I'm happy for Remillard, but I will point out that he's a 29 year-old hitting .229 with a .682 OPS in the launching pad that is Charlotte. Adding him to the 40 man is further evidence that the cupboard is absolutely bare.
