Based on those four all basically asking to sit on fan appreciation day that final Sunday game. Our Chuck basically assumed AB was untradable but that the club was more afraid of those other three guys getting hurt once again before the offseason…precluding their ability to dump them via trade.

I believe Chuck said that was the only thing he could think off to rationalize why they weren't playing. It was clear from his other comments and demeanor that he felt they should have played.
October 5, 20232 yr They like to throw around the word trade but ignore the poor history of trades and can never think trade for what? Also NL veterans don't do well here. Sure you can get rid of guys and end up with Wilson Betemints. They turn out worse for the team. With Kenny and Hahn gone there is a shortage of naive GMs.
