As much as I rib the Padres/Preller, Seidler was basically the anti-Jerry and thus necessary in sports.

Well, it looks like he is finally becoming a superstar.  And James Wood is expected to be even better.

Plus you add in Mackenzie Gore, that Juan Soto trade basically doomed the franchise.

 

The funny thing to me is that CJ Abrams, Tatis, Machado, Kim, Jackson Merrill, Cronenworth (originally, with TB) and Bogaerts are/were all SS's coming up.  Heck, you can even count Profar, who came up with Rangers at SS before all the injuries forced him off that spot.

Says a lot about the value of developing stars at SS and then eventually moving them around the diamond.
