Plus you add in Mackenzie Gore, that Juan Soto trade basically doomed the franchise. The funny thing to me is that CJ Abrams, Tatis, Machado, Kim, Jackson Merrill, Cronenworth (originally, with TB) and Bogaerts are/were all SS's coming up. Heck, you can even count Profar, who came up with Rangers at SS before all the injuries forced him off that spot.
