Autumn Dreamin
Gonzo is 3-5 after hitting his first Barons HR. He also had a double earlier in the game. 6-10 to start his time in AA. Barons have a 6-3 lead in extras. Edited May 23, 2024 by Autumn Dreamin 1

oldsox
Louis Reyes is very consistent. Is he one of Marco's discoveries?

Luis Reyes The White Sox’s highest-paid pitcher of the 2023 signing class got off to a miserable start, but he righted the ship after a midseason shift to the bullpen. The question is whether he showed enough to jump to stateside pitching next season. https://www.southsidesox.com/2023/1/16/23557972/international-signing-period-opens-with-seven-new-white-sox-players Seems the biggest news from this entire article (Reyes was ranked 41st in his intl class) was that they signed Juan Uribe, Jr., hoping to get an "in" on the Dominican players who will be training at his father's newly-opened training academy down there in the DR. Really weird. He averaged less than two innings as a starter but over three as a reliever. Got shelled today though still young.
Autumn Dreamin
Great starts for Schweitzer (7IP, 1ER, 1BB, 7K) and Adams (6.1IP, 1ER, 1BB, 6K) today. Both runs were solo shots. Jake Peppers ('23 9th round) has been off to a solid start too. He got a career high 7Ks today in a 6IP/2ER start. He came out for the 7th, but was pulled after putting two on with no outs. Surprisingly efficient pitch count (81) despite 5 walks. Held his velo throughout. In the Barons' pen, Adisyn Coffey is down to a 0.56 ERA and 1.00 WHIP with just 1ER through 16IP this season. Hope he stays a leverage guy so broadcasters can make "Coffey is for closers" jokes.
Timmy U
Robert ended 1-2 with a HR and a K. Like the power but the 50% K rate worries me. 1
