Same. I love draft time for the influx of talent. If we theoreticaly drafted a Konnor Griffin or Rainer, would they slot in at #3/4 on our list behind Schultz and Montgomery?

Another Merkin puff piece…but surely better than reading about the major league train wreck.

I love this headline because the alterative is "Scout is lazy at job."

But also, when will people on this board realize that Merkin's job is to write puff pieces, other than game recaps? He's the writer for the team's website. He's not gonna write a "Chris Getz sure fucking sucks at roster management" or "Pedros 10 dumbest quotes" article.

I miss when the draft was in June.
