Burger's not a win. Neither is Vaughn.    They aren't even average regulars.
And i agree that you won't have a whole lot of wins.  But Burger and Vaughn would need OPS > .850 to be wins.
Canon's a win.  He looks like he'll be an average starter.  Cool.
Crochet is a blowout win.

I know it's obvious and a lot easier for me to say than it is to do.  But we just can't have a bunch of DHs again and a well below par D and expect to really win.

Major league average OPS is 707.There are currently 19 players with an OPS over 850 les than 1 per team. That means nearly every FO needs to be fired because they can't draft.

Anytime you get an MLB player from the draft it's a win.

Again, I don't disagree they need better defense. But finding good defense and the 850 OPS is nearly impossible. You have to have a blend of it all with the defense up the middle and your big hitters on the edges. If you can find both like Robert Jr you have a star.

There is not a more white sox name than Mike Sirota. Mike Sirotka -> Mike Soroka -> Mike Sirota???

  • Two of the injuries were fractures of the hamate on each hand. On the plus side he doesn't have anymore hamate bones to fracture so maybe he's done with them. ?

Burger  and Vaughn need an OPS greater than .850 to be plus players because they can’t play defense.
an average regular is a win. A bad regular is not.

Burger, Vaughn, Sheets, Madrigal, Burdi, Collins, Fulmer:  winning?

I'll agree with the needing more offense to offset the defense.

What the heck do Burdi and Fulner have to do with OPS? They were pitchers.

They made the majors, which per your post above, equals winning.

I'm too old to have 12 conversations at once.

You misunderstood my comment on winning. Making the majors is a win for the draft pick because so few actually make it.

It doesn't necessarily equate to wins on the MLB team. A winning team is a lot more than just the best players. One if the keys is health. Baseball is such a grind. Who knows what Madrigal or Burdi would have been without thise catastrophic injuries that just arent common.
