Just worry that given the lack of positional depth in the minors, that we went after high floor guys who have little to no chance of being difference makers (which Hostetler also did quite a bit when we kicked off the rebuild). I mean I guess this is fair but which difference could they have taken with the $1.3 million spent on those two guys? We’re talking about day two. Smith and Bonemer need to be difference makers.
July 24, 20241 yr If the White Sox would’ve taken Mike Sirota and Peyton Stovall, nobody would have an issue. The thing is though, none of us have any idea if those two players are better than McLain and Antonacci.

But I do like the upside of those two you mentioned more than McLain & Antonacci. All that being said, Shirley probably deserves trust until proven otherwise.
