Good A+ debut for Nishida batting leadoff, 2-5 with a run scored and SB.

Jake Bockenstedt's debut went less well. 2.2IP, 9H (2HR), 7ER, 1BB, 2K.

It was a high scoring affair overall, Dash won 11-10 after going down 9-5 at one point.

And in other promotion/debut news, Elko gets the start at 1B for his first AAA game.

Elko goes yard in his second AB. No highlight since the MiLB broadcasts are broken, but it was a change sent 102mph/400ft off the bat to LCF per Statcast.

With all the negativity, hard not to pull for guys like Elko and Nishida.  A day in MLB might be a win for some.

Good for Elko…but fire everyone, this is ridiculous

Montgomery is very close to Mr. Mendoza.

Do you know of any offers on the table for Robert/Crochet?

There was a period from late april to end of June where suddenly our pitchers were throwing strikes and lasting long into games. Seems like that has pulled back, seeing a lot more incredibly wild games (may be fatigue).

Hitting wise, there is not a shred of sunshine. It is miserable.
