I will go with Robert, the catcher's spot and Josh Rojas if he gets enough time defensively at SS 3B 2B.

Didn't have room to fit Meidroth or Ramos...no Fletcher or Colas either.

Notice Robert tied with Kelenic and bottom 5-6 in the majors for CF last year.

Hard to imagine him having a worse year defensively...

If Robert wants out of Chicago...he's going to have to play his way off the roster during the first half of the season.

Is this only for 2025 or for the future? I don’t think Quero and Teel are there in 2025 but them not being there in 2026 would feel like a development disappointment.

2025 only...was tempted to go Montgomery, but not sure how many games he gets at SS this season.

Same with Teel/Quero.

Will be interesting to see how different the MLB Pipeline take on Quero is tonight on MLBNetwork...he finished 100-115ish at BA.

I mean why would the answer be anyone but Robert?

He wasn't close last year...in the 30s.

Steamer projected a number of Sox hitters near 2 fwiw.  Easy to be skeptical on guys like Sosa Baldwin and Meidroth though.

Luis Robert is the easy answer

Robert is too easy...

The more interesting question is who...if anyone...should be ranked 2nd?

Is this a trick question?

Kind of?

Logically it would be Teel Montgomery or Quero depending on MLB playing time.

Robert obviously and hopefully, so he can be traded for a better return.

Baseball America dogging Quero is an absolute shame.  Didn’t even make their top 100?
