The common wisdom seemed to be that he wouldn't listen to anyone but his own "natural instincts"...see ball, hit ball without any type of plan of attack or interest in scouting reports.

We knew this last year. He came to camp with a new outlook of looking for the ball in a zone. After the injury, he got all screwed up and in his head. 

Big waste of talent like Moncada 

The Sox were probably targeting the hitters, but of note this is one of Cincy's top 5 prospects.

The Barons crushed him in my one look, so I may not be as high on him as others, but is it wrong that his hair is a dealbreaker for me? You got a first round bonus. Spring for some conditioner.
