Man, Slater looks bad out there. Braden Montgomery (or someone else) may be up by June.

You and Tray treating him like he's Thomas/Ventura back in the day for some reason.

Not even Luis Robert rocketed through the system THAT fast.

All these TJSs and Drury (their best bat of spring, far and away) injured and released. I hate the Sox right now and I hate being a fan.  I try to be optimistic, and I often argue and debate with

  • Getz is just an amazingly bad scout of major league talent

ERA up to 189!  I want to see how high this can go

Rodriguez is going to get himself released this spring

There has to be another outfielder that was released today that is better than Slater.

Five in a row have reached/scored.

3-2 AZ

Bases still loaded.

That’s our opening day leadoff hitter

From watching some of the games, Teel is easily the best defensive catcher in the system

We only pick up fringeish relievers.

Rodriguez is going to get himself released this inning

Janish said Quero was more advanced but probably just due to more familiarity.

I have no idea who this dude is pitching, but should probably be released after this game.

Six in a row  26 pitches no outs yet.

JR is ordering him to sell more milkshakes?

His former teammates were quite familiar/comfortable with him it appears.

Rodriguez is a reclamation project. They believe they can fix him. I have my doubts.

I guarantee some of us could put up better stats.  WHIP of 30?

I try to be optimistic, and I often argue and debate with all the constant Negative Nellies on this board and defend the Sox organization, but I am down about the events the last few days.

I mean seriously, look at the lineup up above. That's more or less the opening day lineup. That's, at least, three guys in the lineup who are going to bat under .200; at least three!!

So every game, no matter how good the pitching, the Sox are going to start every game with three or four absolutely dead bats, almost half the lineup.

I'll be okay in a few days, but right now I hate being a White Sox fan.

And yes, I will still tune in and watch today.

I feel ya man. Drury had me hoping maybe they win a few games early and have a little fun. It's dismal now. They're trying to force Meidroth when he's clearly not ready.

Yeah he’s not going to make it. It’s more astonishing to see anyone struggle that much.  He’s only 26, hope for him his career isn’t done.  Didn’t the Sox face him  in his debut and he was electric?

The entire team other than Robert can be classified as a reclamation project at this point.

Finally an out recorded.

Plymell a 26 year old from Central Missouri.

Sac fly two outs.

5-2

Inning mercifully comes to an end.

If not for the Zavala miracle comeback, the White Sox would be staring at 9-20...same exact spring training record as last season.

As is, we get the one game improvement to 10-19 if this score holds up.

That ball just kept going. Nice, Vargas.

Vargas with the homer!
