April 21, 2025Apr 21 21 hours ago, The Mighty Mite said: There are just no words to describe the state of the franchise, everything to be said has been said many many times on these and other White Sox forums, we have choices, living in Florida I’ve become a fan of the Rays but they aren’t in my DNA like the Sox but I’m so very close to giving up on a team that I have lived and died with for 73 years, sometimes as I’m watching loss after loss, tears come to my eyes but then I change gears and so much hate starts coming out of me for Reinsdorf and what he has done to our team. I just can’t see the franchise and team becoming legitimate contenders again as the man refuses to do what it takes to win in this day and age, when he hired Getz, that was the handwriting on the wall. How much more of this can White Sox fans take, what is happening to the fan base, by the time this team can contend again, will there be any fans left that really care, I’m not sure. Maybe Reinsdorf's last thing is to "Rachel Phelps" the Sox to Nashville. Make them so bad that people lose interest and say, "All the White Sox need is a change of scenery." Of course, I can't imagine MLB allowing that, but money talks.
