One of the highlights of my life on Twitter was when Josh Nelson blocked me. 

Kay will likely end up costing more than that.

Yaz will go to a contender and Mullins might be cooked.  But he would possibly still be an upgrade over Taylor.

Ofc his agent might still perceive him as an $8-10 million ball player.

Look at Mullins' numbers after he was traded.

.182 with a 62ops+.

Much better with Balt...but that ending was atrocious.

One of numerous reasons for Mets' collapse down the stretch.

Someone will still sign Mullins as a bounce back candidate and to be their primary CF.

No way will their payroll be that high

Probably well below $5 million.  More scrap heap/dump sterling diving.

But not that type of money for veteran position players in their 30s.

Josh Nelson isn't even close to being among top national baseball "experts" to be making such predictions...compared to Fegan or even Margalus at his own site.

Josh Nelson's expertise seems to be in following College ball, and gaming the draft. I'm surprised his anticipated off-season plan on his own website consists of signing 6 known free agents. Not all that creative. 

I'm generally traveling at the end of the baseball season, so their OPP launch always catches me in between. I'd think the focus will be on unfound FA relievers, or projects, and a few bounce back starting candidates. Lenyn Sosa or Quero feel like trade candidates if they can bring back a blocked OF, or something. A team can drill Sosa and maybe improve his defense to zero, then they'd have a pretty valuable, cheap 2B for a spell.
