March 9Mar 9 Solid 2 scoreless for Paez. Changeup was effective, responsible for all of his whiffs (4) and Ks (2). Edited March 9Mar 9 by Autumn Dreamin
March 9Mar 9 Paez is trying to test the Thorpe hypothesis that you can get away with a 90-92 mph fb. And Tristan Peters and Meidroth having virtually identical offensive numbers is sure something...especially with the bloated AZ statistics.

Hopefully he'll keep settling in and make it a tough decision to keep him or not. If you know you arent going to make the playoffs picking up free pitching talent that automatically slots into your top 15 or so prospects might be a risk worth taking with him and Alberto. Its like getting 2 decent pitching prospects in a trade but you have to burn the 1st service year right away.
March 9Mar 9 Dunn has opened some eyes in camp, but he's a 28 year old 3B so off to Charlotte he goes. Same with Dustin Harriis, formerly of the Rangers.

Why is this something? We‘re talking 23 ABs for Chase and 15 for Tristan. There is literally nothing of significance that could be gained from such a small stat line.

Drew Romo singles him in. 2 -0 🙂 10 minutes ago, caulfield12 said: Why did Pereira get pulled so early for Braden? Because this is his first game coming back from injury, and they don't want to push him?

March 9Mar 9 Pereira's not going to get enough at bats to beat out Kekenic at this rate... Looks like Jared will get his last shot. But Baldwin is also blocking him...or should be.
