Bonemer is 0-3 with 3k’s. He’s a lot more feast or famine this year.

let's hope for the latter. I was wrong Kay is fool's gold. Tires way too easily for a starter. Might be mildly useful as a swingman if he can pump 96 for an inning or two. maybe he can take the Leasure spot.

He's now in the top 10 of most offensive categories in the IL and most of the guys in front of him have super inflated BABIP. It's hard to take anyone's Charlotte numbers seriously but it's also hard to believe he couldn't be a WRC+ 100 big leaguer if he keeps this up for a few months.

Still, they need to shoot for better than 100 or essentially league average ceilings from 2B or LF.

Unfortunately the White Sox have significantly lowered my standards. League average position players seem like a novel concept.

To be fair, if you were to tell me after the last two seasons that Jacob Gonzalez could possibly sniff 100/league average I would ask who your dealer was.

We have definitely had a history of guys having a big bender of a season at Charlotte as a last gasp before disappearing, but in theory Gonzalez should have a higher ceiling than most of them, so who knows.
