Tuesday at 04:23 AM5 days He has been terrible for Cubs this year but only made 2 starts since coming back from his hamstring injury (awful starts). Was solid past two years and shouldn’t be past his prime yet. Could a change of scenery work? I’m not opposed to it given fact we can’t keep running Schultz out there. Or piggy back him with someone else.
Tuesday at 04:29 AM5 days Hard pass…he’s looked terrible all year. Might be the worst starter in all of baseball this year.
Tuesday at 04:38 AM5 days I think the Sox would be on the hook for his giant contract right? All for it if he gets released.
Tuesday at 04:55 AM5 days He's had a rough year.I think we're better off going with Adams and/or Sandlin. In fact, with the apparent need for 2 starters, I would think at least one of those 2 should be up right now.
Tuesday at 01:37 PM5 days I can't imagine him on the White Sox or most of other teams for that matter. It should be a very interesting week coming up. Looks like Schultz won't be with the team too much longer. The team needs at least one starting pitcher and a catcher who can hit. I don't know if the team can fill their holes from the farm system. We shall see.
Tuesday at 02:20 PM5 days The Cubs desperately need starting pitching and were still willing to dump Taillon and eat the remainder of his $18 million dollars for this season. He will definitely clear waivers so if he is willing to sign a minor league deal and see if he can figure it out at Charlotte, that’s fine. Otherwise, he’s been one of the worst starters in baseball this year.

He's been around for long enough and had enough success though that any tweaks he could make would probably have happened already. He's either injured and trying to fight through it or he's just done.
