I wanted to give some appreciation to this dude. We signed him for a cheap contract, and he pitches his ASS off for us in 2024. Completely exceeds expectations and puts up 4.6 bWAR. Then he nets us fricken Miguel Vargas in a trade.

This season we sign him for basically nothing - $1.5mil. he does exactly what he needs to do by reliably eating innings as a 5th starter. He's in line to be worth 1.5-2 bWAR. A complete bargain for what he cost us.

We don't always appreciate guys like him. Somebody needs to eat innings though. He has gotten the job done for us at a bargain.
