October 11Oct 11 Kentucky became the first team in college football history to win back to back games by a single point both in overtime (and both by the exact same score). They knocked off LSU 35-34 Saturday. Last week it was at South Carolina by the same score.
October 12Oct 12 The Sickos Committee and the X (formerly Twitter) user CHOTalksSports pointed out recent feats of the Upper Iowa Peacocks, a Division II team in Fayette, Iowa, that merit mentioning. On Saturday, coach Jason Hoskins’s squad defeated Truman State 21–19 at home—the team’s fifth consecutive game decided by two points or fewer. Since Sept. 5, Upper Iowa has lost to Missouri Southern (21–19), lost to Michigan Tech in overtime (33–32), lost to Lincoln (34–32), beaten Missouri S&T in double overtime (39–37) and now topped Truman State. October 19Oct 19 Author For the first time since 2002, Miami (FL) is ranked #1 in the polls.I dont expect us to stay there long, I'm not impressed with how we've played the last several weeks and we played poorly against a weak FSU team.I don't think we're going to win in South Bend. I wouldn't even be shocked of we lost in Chapel Hill in a couple weeks. This team is significantly weaker defensively than last season and also has been ravaged by injury in the defensive backfield.
October 19Oct 19 ND got double hosed following missing playoffs a year ago. But 1 second left and a clear PI on the play. Was a heck of a game either way though and had Miami lost it may have been one of the craziest weekends I can remember in college football.

Was a heck of a game either way though and had Miami lost it may have been one of the craziest weekends I can remember in college football. The refs were not in control of the game and there was 1 second left for one more play.ND did indeed get hosed, but they shot themselves in the foot. Their QB had a clunker of a game; he was off just a bit and missed 2 easy TD passes. Plus, ND has no excuse for their elite pass rusher getting ejected for targeting on BYU's opening drive. This goes under the radar but had a huge impact on the game. The BYU D lineman admitted to yelling HUT at the goal line at the end of the 1st half which is a penalty. The play was ruled a fumble and ND came away with no points.BYU D-lineman admits yelling 'Hut!' before CJ Carr's costly fumble

UCLA toughest games left are at Michigan and then play USC. OSU lost their quarterback so who knows if they will hold up. Indiana is at Michigan this Saturday and then has USC at home, and Washington on the road. I think Indiana will repeat as Big Ten Champs. That in itself is a crazy sentence, Indiana football has been a door mat my whole life.

That in itself is a crazy sentence, Indiana football has been a door mat my whole life.Just like the certainty Iowa will win some blowouts over teams like WSH or Minnesota or Wisconsin but still get pummeled by Ohio State.Although to be fair they did give Indiana one of their toughest games in 2025...mostly because it was at Kinnick.
Friday at 12:30 AM2 days on teams like Miami joining the Big10 or ACC, or going independent with Amazon TV packages"As an AAU research institution, we line up with the Big Ten's profile," he says, in a jarring comment from a prominent executive about potential membership in another conference. "We have an exceptionally strong profile that compares favorably with leading research institutions across the country. On the geography idea, we line up better with the SEC."While leaders at the SEC and Big Ten have shown little to no signs publicly that they are willing or plan to expand in the immediate future, expansion moves traditionally unfold under the cloak of darkness. However, the Big Ten already finds itself stretched east to west across three timezones. Is it worth a dip into the south to further exacerbate travel expenses? It is true that the conference and its television partner, Fox, have shown more aggression in expansion, and the league may benefit from adding bigger brands, such as Miami, to increase the value of its regular season schedule? In the SEC, expansion conversations among executives — not at all formal — have often centered around other schools outside of the state of Florida. North Carolina and Virginia provide the league with a presence in two new states, high achieving academic brands and strong basketball programs.www.yahoo.com/sports

Sorsby dropped the fight, and that was that. But cocky Cody vowed vengeance on the documentary.“Looking back on it, I know that Texas Tech and I handled everything with integrity, and we did things the right way,” said Campbell, who also chairs the school’s Board of Regents. “I think this is something that could have been handled much more privately. We’re not going to forget about that, and I don’t think they’ll forget about it either when we’re up by 40 and still throwing the ball in the fourth quarter. That’s where the retribution will come."Oooooops!!!si.com Edited 11 hours ago11 hr by caulfield12
